Hi, I’m Dana Roberts.
After nearly two decades of discipling children and students of all ages, God placed a deep desire in my heart to professionally counsel children and teens struggling with all of life’s upsets. Garden Gate Biblical Counsel is a classic biblical counseling and para-church ministry desiring to walk with young people on the journey to find hope and healing in Jesus. God has given everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him (2 Peter 1:3) to walk this journey. Additionally, I am certified with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC), and hold an M.A. in Biblical Counseling with a concentration on children and teens.
My husband and I live in Wisconsin where we raised two daughters and have been blessed by the addition of their husbands and children to our family. I have been active in the local church for many years including coordinating children’s ministry, leading women’s and youth bible studies, and presenting at community outreach events.
God has graciously directed me to become completely immersed in Biblical Counsel consisting of counseling, writing articles, and presenting workshops/training with the ultimate goal of presenting the gospel of Christ Jesus (John 3:16), loving God most and loving others well (Matt. 22:37-39), and holding firm to the sufficiency, inerrancy, and authority of Scripture (2 Tim. 3:16). I pray that as I live my life in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, I will be able to help your family find hope in that very same, life-changing gospel. Only through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection are we able to be eternally healed.
